Naruto, Shikamaru and Kiba return empty-handed from their first retrieval. Now they are sent again to retrieve Sasuke dead or alive. How much have changed since then? Since the last time Naruto fought Sasuke, who will triumph? Will Sakura ever get Sasuke back again?
I wrote this story based on the assumption that Neji and Chouji had died during their chase.
